ESL Vision Statement
To share the love of Christ and assist refugees in resettlement in the Charleston area by providing friendship and opportunities to practice and learn English.

How can I help?
Pray for God’s protection and strength for our students and volunteers.
Pray that God will use ESL volunteers to share the love of Christ with the students
Donate funds toward the purchase of student and teacher books. Each book is $40
Donate funds or supplies, such as name tags, notebooks, notebook paper, etc. (any amount is appreciated)
Donate snacks (pretzels, baked goods, cookies, chips, vegetable trays, bottled water, juice boxes)
Serve on Hospitality Team (bring snacks, make coffee, simple set up & clean up) 5:30pm to 7pm Tuesday.
Help plan & serve at events such as Thanksgiving dinner, game night, shopping trips, teacher appreciation.
Volunteer for the Transportation Team (pick up students before class and/or take them home afterwards)
Volunteer to help with childcare.
Volunteer as a conversation partner (once every 5 - 6 wks) have a conversation/play a game/make a craft with a student Tuesday, 6:30 pm
Assist in a classroom by working with students one on one
Teach a Class
